Boar Blanket Warranty

Remote Trapping Solutions (RTS) offers the Boar Blanket warranty (BB) for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain and provide proof for date of purchase. This warranty only covers manufacturer’s defects and does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse to the product. Normal wear and tear are not considered a manufacturer’s defect. If the product proves defective during this period, RTS, at its option will: 

  1. Replace the product the product or defective part with a duplicate or comparable product or part. 
  2. Repair the product or defective part using necessary means shipped to the end user. 

WARRANTY TERMS 

Who May Use This Warranty: Only the end-user, agency, or organization who originally purchased the product may use this warranty. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the product. The end-user who originally purchased the product and is, as a result, entitled to use this warranty according to the terms stated herein, may be further referred to herein as “You” or “Your.” 

What This Warranty Covers: This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship of the product for the warranty period as defined below. 

  • Significant material and factory assembly omissions that hinder proper use of the trap; including missing system components, missing rings, unstitched seams or edges, or torn mesh discovered prior to usage. 
  • Any areas of wear or fray that are beyond the normal wear and tear despite proper use, handling, and storage. 

What This Warranty Does Not Cover: 

  • Reasonable wear and tear of the system. Please note: Insignificant and minor tears or damage can occur due to normal wear and tear and can be repaired with 550 cord (paracord) or other heavy or high strength twine or cable/zip ties. If any of this is in question, please call or email for authorization of repair in order for RTS to inspect damage and make recommendations if needed. 
  • Personal preference to trapping types or systems. 
  • Abuse or unusual damage to the system, provided that the defect is caused by, extenuated, or hastened by such abuse or damage. 
  • Replacement of any components other than the damaged parts in question. 
  • Any BoarBlanket trap system sold by unauthorized dealers or resellers. 
  • Any system that is not in use by the original owner, agency, or organization. Used traps transferred to a third party are not covered under this Warranty.

  • Any damage caused by the following: transportation, improper storage, improper use, failure to follow product instructions or perform any preventive maintenance, modifications to the product, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, or external causes such as acts of God, accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond the reasonable control of RTS. 

Period of Coverage: This warranty begins on the date you receive the trap and establish a corresponding documentation of receipt, or one year from the date of Your purchase of the product, whichever is earlier, and lasts for one year (referred to as the “Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period is not extended if RTS repairs or replaces the Product. RTS reserves the right to change the availability of this Limited Warranty at its discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive. 

How to Obtain Warranty Service: To obtain warranty service, you must take one of the following actions to make a valid report of defective materials or workmanship during the Warranty Period: Call RTS at (855)-970-8727; or send an email to: info@remotetrapping.com. The following information must be given to RTS to make a valid report of defective materials or workmanship under this Limited Warranty: Your name and contact information; the date you purchased the product; and details and pictures regarding the perceived defect. Upon your report of defective materials or workmanship, RTS shall be entitled to inspect or inquire into the circumstances of the report to determine whether warranty service is appropriate. 

Limitation of Liability: The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies and RTS’ entire liability for any breach of this Limited Warranty. RTS’ liability shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the defective product, nor shall RTS under any circumstance be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages or losses, whether direct or indirect. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
